Acceptable use policy

Keep the records true and the doors locked.

What you may and may not do with CleanCleaver. Effective October 8, 2026.

Please do

Use it as a true record

  • Record what really happened, when it happened. Fix a mistake with Not done after all; the original stays.
  • Keep your sign-in code, the tablet PINs and guide links to the people meant to have them.
  • Invite only people who work with you, and remove someone the day they leave.
  • Follow your health department when the app and the department differ.

Do not

What is not allowed

  • Falsify, back-date or invent records, or use CleanCleaver to mislead an inspector.
  • Upload other people's private information you have no right to keep, or photograph a filled paper health sheet.
  • Use another person's account, or share yours.
  • Scrape, copy or resell the service, the guides or the inspection data, or use them to rank or shame a business.
  • Probe, scan or attack the service, or get around a limit. Found a weak spot? Tell us (see the security page).
  • Upload anything illegal, harmful or that you have no right to share.

If a rule is broken

What happens

We may remove content, pause an account or end it, as the terms say, and tell the authorities when the law asks. Where we can, we tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.

Your binder is ready when the inspector is.
