When does a sick food worker have to stay home?
The guide explains the permit in plain words.
Who checks the permit?
You do.
Then you say so.
The worker adds the permit. A manager looks at it and taps I checked it
. Ready means you looked and said yes. It is your record, not the county's.
- The worker adds a photo, the number, the expiry date and the county.
- You look at the permit and tap
I checked it
. - The app does not look the permit up with the county.
- Until the lessons and signing are done, the app says
You can approve once the lessons and signing are done.
The demo has a People board you can open.
Who can do what?
Four levels.
Each adds a little.
Staff cannot open manager pages, even by typing the address. Staff see their own records. Managers see the rest.
| Level | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Staff | See their own records, activity and points. Use Ask. |
| Manager | Adds Team, People, Prove, Insights and Review logs. Can send a Nag and kudos. Can invite workers, leads and volunteers. |
| Admin | Adds Settings, billing and Open legally. Can invite managers. |
| Owner | Everything an admin can do. Only an owner can add a co-owner. |
How do I add them?
One question at a time,
then a link.
Pick how to reach them: a link by email or text, a QR code, a 6-character code, or a PIN for the shop tablet.
- Your own phone or mail app sends the message. CleanCleaver opens it with the words filled in.
- An invite lasts 14 days. A one-event volunteer's ends the day after the event.
- Send a new code and the old one stops working.
- Paste a list of names to add many people at once.
Add one person and watch the board move.
What it does not do
What is missing,
said plainly.
The board shows the countdown when someone opens the app. It does not send alerts about permits.
- It does not sell the state course. You take that elsewhere.
- It does not text or email invites for you. Your own phone or mail app does.
