Every result here is the health department's own data. We show its date and link to the department's record. We never sort places from best to worst, and we never compare one county's scores with another's.
This is separate from the CleanCleaver Standard, which shows a shop's own daily records when it chooses to share them.

Where can I find restaurant health inspection reports?
On the health department's own site, for the county or city where the restaurant is. Pick it above: we show its latest results where the department publishes data, and link straight to the official record everywhere.
Are these the official results?
Yes. Each result is the health department's own data, with the inspection date and a link to its official record. CleanCleaver does not change, score or rank it.
Can I compare a restaurant in one county with one in another?
No. Each health department scores in its own way. A New York City point total and a Florida violation count mean different things, so we only show what's typical inside one county or city.
How often is it updated?
We check each department's data once a month. Anyone can ask for a fresh check once a day per county with the button under the results.
Why do some places only show a link?
Some departments publish results only on their own site. We link you straight there.
