    • -Observed deteriorated utensils that are no longer cleanable. Repair or replace these utensils (pan extenders, deeply scored cutting boards, etc.). Prepared Foods: -Observed grease stains on the ceiling panels beside the exhaust hood - this is a sign of spillage of grease and vapors. Ensure that all equipment is fully under the hood, allowing for a 6 inch overhang of the hood from the outer edge of the cooking surface to the inner lip of the hood. Clean ceiling panels. If staining returns, submit a hood exhaust data sheet and hood performance data sheet to EHS to determine whether the hood is working properly. -Ensure all hoods are turned on during use of cooking equipment. The hood in the seafood department was not on during use of the smoker. -The sneeze guards for the self-service pizza area were installed without approval and are not sufficient to protect food from customers. Submit specifications for replacement sneeze guards that meet these requirements: https://www.marincounty.org/~/media/files/departments/cd/ehs/food/plancheck/buffetserviceguidelinessneezeguardguidelines.pdf All equipment must be approved by EHS. • -Seal cracks and crevices and any holes in walls throughout the facility to prevent entry or harborage of vermin. Especially in the Prepared Foods kitchen. -Repair or resurface pitted floor with approved materials as it is no longer smooth and cleanable. -Eliminate standing water throughout the facility. I do not recommend hosing down floors to clean. Cleaning floors with hoses, and leaking plumbing is contributing to standing water throughout the facility. Standing water will attract vermin, deteriorate flooring, and create safety hazards for employees.

About this record

Search the county's inspection lookup for the name or license number L10869.

Most people don't know what a normal result looks like for a place that's open every day. The ranges use each place's last routine inspection in this area. No other county is mixed in.

Marin County gives each inspection a result, not a score, so there is no typical range to show.

Marin County posts a green, yellow or red placard after an inspection, and gives no score. In the county's own inspection data, inspectors write "Green (Pass) placard posted" and "a yellow placard is posted due to the multiple major violations observed". We could not read a county page that lists what each color needs, so ask the department.
