How do I set up a shop tablet?

First, give each person a PIN.

1. Sign in on the tablet. Open More, then People: your team, invites, roles, and how to reach them.
2. Tap Add someone. Type their name and pick what they do.
3. Pick They don't have a phone.
4. Pick 4 numbers for them. Type the same PIN again under Type the same PIN again.
5. Tell them the PIN yourself. Do not text it.

Then turn the tablet on.

1. Find the Shop tablet card. Managers see it in People. Admins and owners see it in Settings.
2. Tap Use this device as the shop tablet.
3. Pick 4 numbers for leaving tablet mode. Only managers should know them.
4. Type the same 4 numbers again.

The tablet shows Who's checking in? with name tiles. It shows names only, nothing about anyone else.

1. Pick what you are doing: Check in, Food: put in, take out or Lessons.
2. Tap your name.
3. Type your own 4 numbers.
4. Do your check-in. Tap Done. Back to names when you finish.

If it does not look like this

• You see That PIN didn't match. Try again. Type your PIN again.
• You see Too many tries. Wait 1 minute, then try again. Wait, then try again.
• Your name is not there? You see No one has a tablet PIN yet. A manager can add one in People. Ask your manager.
• To turn tablet mode off, tap Manager: leave tablet mode and type the manager's 4 numbers.

• The tablet is for people who have no phone. Use a phone if you have one.
• The numbers that leave tablet mode are checked on the tablet itself. They keep guests out. They are not a lock against a person who means harm.
• Easy PINs, like 1111 or 1234, are refused.
