How do I do the daily health check-in?

1. On Today, tap Start my check-in.
2. Answer each question with Yes or No. Tell the truth. It is for everyone's safety.
3. Use Back if you tapped the wrong one.
4. Press and hold Hold: I washed my hands just now. Can't hold? Tap Can't hold? Tap here instead.
5. Read today's reminder card.
6. Tap Finish check-in.

If all is well, you see You're good to work. Then tap See what's due.

Some answers change your day. The screen tells you what to do:

• Cover it first: cover the cut or sore with a bandage and a glove, then answer again.
• No food work today: you can work today, but not with food, drinks or clean utensils. Ask your manager for other tasks.
• Please don't work today: rest and get well. Under When can I come back? the screen shows the rule for your return.

Made a mistake? Tap Answer again.

If it does not look like this

• No signal? The app keeps your check-in and sends it when it can.
• No phone? Use the shop tablet. See Set up a shop tablet.
• Want it in Spanish? Tap the language button on the screen, or pick it in Profile.

• You see Your answers stay private. Your manager only sees whether you're OK to work. Managers and the person in charge see what to do. They do not see your yes and no answers.
• The app does keep your answers with your check-in. The manager screens do not show them.
• The check-in is in English and Spanish. Lessons and reminder cards stay in English.
• A check-in does not replace the state food handler course.
