Can I say it instead of typing?

Use Safari or Chrome. Open a log form or a report.

1. Tap the mic button. It says Tap to talk.
2. Allow the microphone if your phone asks.
3. Say it in plain words, like "Men's room, out of soap".
4. Pause. It stops by itself. You can also tap it again.
5. Look at We heard: and the list under it.
6. Wrong? Tap Undo next to that line and fix it by hand.
7. Tap the Save button. Nothing is saved until you tap Save.

While you talk, the words show on the screen. The app fills in the boxes it understood. It does not invent a value it did not hear.

If it does not look like this

• No mic button? You see Tip: tap the 🎤 on your keyboard to talk. Use the mic on your keyboard.
• Talking in another language? Pick it under Language you'll talk in.
• Nothing is heard? Check that the microphone is allowed for your browser, then try again.

• The screen says Uses your phone's speech recognition. We never keep the recording, only the words you save.
• Your browser may send the audio to Apple or Google to turn it into words. That is the browser's part, not ours.
• English and Spanish are read on your device. Words in another language go to Google to be translated first. The screen says so when you pick one.
• There is no mic on the health check-in or the illness report. Those answers are yours to tap.
